Lennart Karstensen

I am a researcher in medical robotics, focusing on endovascular interventions. In 2014 I received my master’s degree in mechanical engineering & management with the focus areas medical technologies and control theory from the Technical University of Munich. After a brief excursion into studying medicine at the Heidelberg University Faculty of Medicine in Mannheim in 2015/2016, I started my doctorate on autonomous endovascular Interventions at Fraunhofer IPA in Mannheim, which I am currently finishing at the SPARC Lab at FAU. During my doctorate I spend two months at the Robotics and Vision in Medicine (RViM) Lab at King’s College London.
